Mr. Ramon Blakley was elected to the NACAC Board Directors at the national conference in Columbus, OH after almost 20 years of service to NACAC, MOACAC, TACAC, and SACAC. He has served Georgia College as the director of admissions since December of 2014. Having both public and private university experience, Mr. Blakley previously served in various admissions leadership roles at Texas A&M-Kingsville, Saint Louis University, and Missouri State University. In his second recruitment season at Georgia College, Blakley has led efforts that resulted in the implementation of Georgia College joining the Common Application, improved the academic quality by raising the average SAT by six points, and increased both freshman and transfer applications. Blakley has a passion for helping students achieve their goals and has the pleasure of leading a team and supporting a university that supports this vision.
Blakley received his Bachelor of Science in Communications from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and his Master of Science in Counseling from Missouri State University.
