The Urban Counselor Workshop is offered each year in the spring. This workshop is designed to provide professional development for high school guidance counselors in the greater Detroit area to address the ever changing issues of college admissions counselors and high school guidance counselors of culturally diverse academic communities. The Urban Counselor Workshop is used as a tool for addressing educational issues surrounding the transition of urban high school students to college freshmen.
