Dear Colleagues!
It is truly an honor to serve as your 2026–2027 MACAC President. I have been a member of MACAC for more than half of my life, receiving the Up and Coming Member Award—now the Rising Star Award—in 2004 and the ACE Award in 2024. MACAC has been an important part of my personal and professional journey, and I am excited about what we can accomplish together this year.

My focus is simple: strengthen MACAC, expand opportunities for our members, and build systems and resources that will continue beyond any one presidency. Our work is centered around seven presidential priorities: Organizational Development and Governance; Leadership Development and Professional Learning—MACAC IGNITE; Communications and Technology; Financial Sustainability and Advancement; Member Engagement, Recognition and Appreciation; Access and Professional Engagement; and Strategic Partnerships and External Engagement.
These priorities are already moving from ideas to action through expanded professional learning, stronger organizational practices, increased member engagement, renewed programming, and new partnerships. Most importantly, this work is about our members and the students and communities we collectively serve.
There is much ahead, and I am excited about what we are building together. Let’s get to work!
